Parker Jotter Dark Red barrel; Old US Made version
For your
consideration is an older model, US made Parker Jotter ballpoint
pen in Dark Red. Jotters are now made in the UK and have a
rounded top to the cap. This is an early version when they were
still made in Wisconsin with the concave end cap. The color is
deeper than the current standard red jotter - it matches very closely
to the recent Ruby Red released in Europe. First introduced in
1954, the Parker Jotter remains one of the best selling pens in history
- over 750 million have been sold worldwide! One of the most
important designs of the original Jotter was the rotating refill -
still used today. With every click, the Jotter's ballpoint
rotates 90 degrees so that the ball wears evenly as you write.
NOTE:
these have been sitting in trays in a warehouse for a number of
years. The barrels will show some faint micro marks from
handling.
Made in USA etched on barrel (very faint, so it was hard to photograph)
