We check all our lenses before they get listed.
Exceptions are noted in the description. We believe our customers
should not be surprised. We check the cosmetic, optical and
mechanical condition. Most of our lenses come with both
caps. Here is a list of sample checks we perform before listing a
lens:
- check for oil, fungus, mold and dust
- check aperture and zoom controls are working
- clean the lens mount
- general cleaning of the barrel
- note any scratches or other imperfections on the glass
- replace missing caps if available
Filters are usually sold separately. We have
lots of filters (e.g. UV, skylight, polarizing, circular poloarizing,
etc) of various sizes; some may not have been listed. We will not
be undersold on filters. Please inquire if you want to add
filters to your purchase.
This 35-70mm AF auto focus lens is
in excellent condition. This lens comes with an aperture
ring. It is compatible with more cameras hence more flexible than
some of the newer G type lenses.
The zoom and focus both operate very smoothly. There
are only minor use marks on the barrel. The glass is clean front and
back. There is no oil, mold or fungus on the lens. This listing comes
with the lens and two end caps. The pictures are of the actual
unit.
